What kind of orchid do I have?

When you first receive an orchid, it can be tricky to fully understand what kind of orchid you have. That’s where we come in.

The first thing to understand is that there are different orchid varieties. There can be several orchids under one variety. We explain below!

Phalaenopsis Orchids

Mystique Orchids are infused with a specially formulated medium to bring these vibrant colors to life. They are also phals.

The care for ALL phals will follow the same process. You will be removing the plant with the grow pot from the decorative container, dunking in water, draining, and returning to the decorative container. You’ll recognize one of our stunning Orchid Gardens when you see an arrangement of more than one plant in the pot.

They will have several orchids or have an orchid plus a bromeliad or a succulent for example. The most important thing to remember is that you should NOT remove the grow pot from the garden while it is blooming. You will water them by adding a small amount of water at the base of the plant once a week. Check here for details!
