Our Silver Vase Family

Thirty years ago, Ilma and Andrew Bartha heeded the call to create something beautiful.This call drove them to get back to nature and share the vibrant beauty of orchids with the world. Thus, Silver Vase was born.  

Just like their precious orchids, Silver Vase grew from the seeds of commitment, love, and dedication. Andrew and Ilma cultivated their business on a foundation of finding the right ingredients, respecting the life cycle of each plant, and trusting the process.  Thirty years later those seeds have sprouted into a business that brings the joy gardening to people all over North America. 

As the business grew, so did the Bartha family. What started as just Ilma and Andrew and their love of orchids, grew in a family of five when Matyas, Miklos, and Agnes were born. 

With three decades behind them, Ilma and Andrew are just getting started! Every day  stirs in them the same passion and excitement it did in the very beginning. They look forward to many more years of brightening the world, one blossom at a time.
